I’m Katherine (Katie) Blacker, and I help you strengthen your online presence with thoughtful, results-driven digital marketing. Since joining Michigan SEO Group in 2015, I’ve worked with clients locally, regionally, and nationally to help them gain traction through proven SEO strategies and strategic social media management.
With a background in creative writing and journalism from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, I focus on crafting clear, authentic content that speaks to your audience and reflects what makes your business unique. In my role as Editor in Chief for our marketing team, I also ensure every article supports your goals—helping you tell your story, showcase your expertise, and highlight the impact you make in your community.
When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling to northern Michigan for camping and hiking, along with my personal mission to visit as many independent coffee shops and bookstores as possible. An avid reader, you’ll often find me with a book in hand or sharing my latest read on Bookstagram. My other hobbies include baking, embroidery, and taking care of my two golden retrievers Summer and Rosie.
